Our accelerated nursing program in New York makes it possible for motivated students to earn their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BS in Nursing) in as few as 16 months. While prior healthcare experience isn’t required for entry into our program, you still must fulfill our ABSN program requirements and complete prerequisites to qualify for admission.

How Our Accelerated BS in Nursing Program in New York Works

Through our three-part ABSN program, you can expect to learn key nursing theory concepts via accelerated nursing coursework and on-site labs at our NYC ABSN program site locations in Riverdale, Long Island City, Brooklyn, and Yonkers, and then put that knowledge and skills into practice during clinical rotations at top healthcare facilities starting your first semester.

The only difference between our accelerated nursing program and a traditional BS in Nursing program is the amount of time it takes to complete — you’ll receive the same high-quality education in our ABSN program, just on a much shorter timeline. While a rigorous pursuit, earning your nursing degree from the University of Mount Saint Vincent ABSN program is well worth the effort. As a graduate of our program, you’ll be qualified to sit for the NCLEX-RN® licensure exam and kickstart your nursing career.
